Biblioscape 7.27 release

Version 7.27 patch can be downloaded at http://www.biblioscape.com/download/bsp7_patch.zip. The above URL always contains the latest patch which includes all the earlier 7.x patches. Please quit Biblioscape first and unzip the downloaded file to your Biblioscape installation folder to replace the old files. Here is the list of bugs fixed and new features added in version 7.27.

  • Bug fix: In references module, Biblioscape doesn't generate bibliography for certain RTF documents saved by OpenOffice.
  • Bug fix: When adding secondary index to reference table in "Tools | Options" window "Database" tab, Biblioscape generate "Access denied..." error.
  • Bug fix: When export references as RTF or HTML file, if there is no sub-style defined for the current reference type, the wrong style may be used.
  • Bug fix: When adding hyperlinks in note editor, the display text is not used. Instead the link address is used.
  • Bug fix: When adding the first record of a module, Biblioscape generate SQL error. This bug was introduced in 7.26.
  • Bug fix: In BiblioSidkekick, deleted references are shown. 
  • Bug fix: In note editor window, when searching references on the "References" tab, deleted references are shown.
  • Improvement: After selecting a large number of records and click the "Categorize..." button. The categorize window takes a long time to display. Now, the display is instant.
  • Improvement: After selecting a large number of records and drag and drop them to another folder. It takes a long time to display the drag cursor. Now, the display is instant.
  • Bug fix: Biblioscape generates an error message when apostrophe is added to a category's name.
