Capture Web Page as a Reference Database Error

Hi -

Forgive me if I posted this in the wrong place - I'm new here!

I just installed Biblioscape 7.26 and created a new Database. I clicked the Internet button and the first thing I did was try to capture a web page as a reference (using Web / Capture Page as a Reference). Right away I got an error:

---------------------------
Biblioscape.bsl - Biblioscape
---------------------------
DBISAM Engine Error # 11949 SQL error - Unknown or unexpected symbol '' found in WHERE clause.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

This seems to happen no matter which web page I'm at (including the Biblioscape home page). Am I doing something wrong?

I cannot reproduce this. Do

I cannot reproduce this. Do you have IE7 installed?

Paul - Yup, I have IE7

Paul -

Yup, I have IE7 installed. The machine was running XP, by the way.

I tried this on another computer - a brand new one running Vista - and got exactly the same thing. I downloaded 7.26 from the site, unzipped it, ran it, created a new database, selected the Internet, selected Web / Capture Page as a Reference and boom - error message.

Did you try doing this procedure on a brand new install?

- Rick

Rick, Yes, I can reproduce

Rick, Yes, I can reproduce the bug with a newly created database. Please download the 7.26 patch again. This bug is fixed. Thanks.
