Using a freshly downloaded and freshly installed version 7.24 with all default settings, I'm finding drag-and-dropping of categories to be more than a little buggy. Here's an illustrative example, using the pre-installed sample database.

1. In the Folder List, select the "Computational Chemistry" category, and then in the Categories pane (on the right) select "Ab initio methods" and drag it into the "Informational organization" category in the Folder Pane (on the left), as in this image:

2. At first glance, this seems to move "Ab initio methods" from "Computational Chemistry" to "Informational organization", as expected. Clicking on "Informational organization" in the Folder List indeed shows that "Ab initio methods" has been moved into it.

3. However, something very different appears when I view the categories under the Tabs pane (on the far right side). To do this, I click any folder in the Folder List, and then in the Tabs pane click the Categories tab. Choosing "Computational chemistry" from the pulldown menu should show the categories shown in the first screenshot above minus "Ab initio methods". In other words, it should show "Molecular Mechanics" (plus its child categories) and "Semi-empirical methods".

Instead, what it shows is "Molecular Mechanics" with "Ab initio methods" as one of its child categories (?!), and "Semi-empirical methods" seems to have disappeared (!!).

4. Still in the Tabs pane, selecting "Informational organization" from the pulldown menu also does not show what should be there. It does NOT show that "Ab initio methods" has been added. Instead it lists "Semi-empirical methods", as if I had moved "Semi-empirical methods" into "Informational organization".

5. Rebuild database, just in case. Result: "No corruption was found in your database." Exit and restart BS. Result: no change.
