Biblioscape 7.25 release

Version 7.25 patch can be downloaded at http://www.biblioscape.com/download/bsp7_patch.zip. The above URL always contains the latest patch which includes all the earlier 7.x patches. Please quit Biblioscape first and unzip the downloaded file to your Biblioscape installation folder to replace the old files. Here is the list of bugs fixed and new features added in version 7.25.

  • Bug fix: Categories type icons are not displayed in the categories tab of references, notes, tasks, and charts modules.
  • Bug fix: In reference, note, task, and chart record window "Categories" tab, category type icons are not displayed when browse to another record.
  • Bug fix: When opening a notes folder on reference editor "Notes" tab, if the folder is a search folder, it is not opened correctly.
  • Bug fix: When opening a references folder on notes editor "References" tab, if the folder is a search folder, it is not opened correctly.
  • Bug fix: When moving categories from one folder to another, the moved categories are not properly displayed in the Categories tab.
  • Improvement: In categories module, when adding a new cateogry, Biblioscape will warn user if the category name has already been used.
  • Bug fix: In references module, when there is no authors for a reference, Biblioscape can use Title to replace Authors. But after field text like " (Editor) " is still used which is inappropriate for Title field.
  • Bug fix: In references module, when pasting text to Authors, Keywords fields, the text is pasted twice.
  • Bug fix: In references module, clicking on the attachment icon doesn't open the pfd file stored in the Attachment field.
  • New feature: Users can now create a link folder. A link folder is a virtual folder and users can drag and drop a record to several link folders.

How to select all field in Lookup function of references module? I need it very much to find a text string nomatter which field it in.

Lookup is for displaying unique values in a field. If you just want to find a string, please use fast search.

Thanks for your apply. My problem is PRL uses article number rather than page number to identify different papers in an issue. If I import the reference from PRL's homepage, the article number is in "start page" field. But importing from ISI, the article number is in "Issule" field, like "13 AR 137002 DI ARTN", where "137002" is the article number. If I want to find all referances with artical number "137002" nomatter what field it in, how can I search for them?

You can use the Advanced

You can use the Advanced Search and build a query to search "137002" in field one OR field two. Or you can modify the import filter to make the article number goes to the same field.
